Mrs. Moore’s Class Rules and Expectations
1. Student Attendance and Participation is important. · Students must be on time. Ş Students are expected to be seated quietly and ready to work when the bell rings. Ş Students are to be prepared for class. Ş In order to be prepared, a student must come to class with paper, a sharp pencil, a student planner, and any other materials required for the day’s activities.
2. Respect is crucial. · RESPECT……yourself, others, property, materials, and everything else. RESPECT is the basic rule of behavior that is expected of all students at all times.
3. Self-Discipline is expected. · Students must learn and demonstrate self-discipline. Ş Monitor your own behavior. Ş Treat others with respect at all times. Ş Be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings. Ş The teacher, not the bell, will dismiss you. Ş Students are expected to know and follow all school and class policies and procedures.
***This includes—NO CELL PHONES in class! If you are using your cell phone in class, I will take it and you may get it back from the school office.***
The class rules are simple and easy to understand. Follow them. If you do not follow these rules, you will be given a chance to correct your behavior. If you still do not follow the rules, there will be consequences appropriate for the misbehavior.
Homework/Assignments:
NO late work will be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with the teacher. All assignments will be posted in class and available on the class Eboard. Extra Credit assignments will be available throughout the trimester. Take advantage of them—they are an easy way to boost your class grade.
I look forward to getting to know each of you this trimester!
Thank you,
