Leadership Class

What is it?

    Leadership class is an elective at Maywood for 7th and 8th graders. You have to apply for this class the year before with a special application. ASB officers are automatically put into this class.

What do you do in this class?

    Leadership class assists ASB officers in what would be a huge job for four people. In this class, we make posters, plan socials, plan spirit days, etc. This is a great class to be in! Mrs. Atkins lets your group be self-motivated. You work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays, there is a class meeting with all the committees (action groups). This is when groups can ask for example the poster group to make a poster about 2:05 Almost Live. On Fridays, we have goal setting for the next week.
